Whats GSOC?

The Google Summer of Code(abbreviated as GSoC) is an international program in which Google provides university students an opportunity to work on a free and open-source software coding project during the summer. All students who successfully complete the project are awarded stipends.

GSoC is a really good oppurtunity to learn and collaborate with international open source organizations. The projects that are covered will denifinitly improve your knowledge base and you'll get an in-depth knowledge of a very specific field. You get to learn a lot of softwares and tech stack which you weren’t acquainted to before. The entire process from selection to
successful completion will demand the best of you and your learning curve will take the steepest ascents during it.
